The United States Intercollegiate Boxing Association and the National Collegiate Boxing Association, in consultation with USA Boxing, have jointly decided to cancel their respective upcoming Collegiate Boxing Championships. This was a very difficult decision to make because our student-athletes have trained hard all year towards earning a championship belt, and because we do not have the ability to postpone the event given the academic schedules of our athletes and member schools. However, the health, wellness, and safety of our student-athletes, coaches, officials, doctors, and fans is of paramount importance and this decision aligns with guidance from the Center for Disease Control, United States Olympic and Para-Olympic Committee, NCAA, and local health organizations.
Please note that boxers must be a current full-time student to participate in the National Tournament.
Please note that teams must be registered with USIBA to be eligible for team points and the Team National Championship award.
